The Shipshewana Walldogs

I wrote sixteen different blog posts about the work done by the sign- and mural-painting organization called the "Walldogs," who chose the town of Shipshewana, Indiana as their summer 2014 project. (The posts can be found by typing "Walldogs" in the search box.)

These murals can be found all over Shipshewana, both downtown and all along Route 5, the main north-south road through town.  They are beautiful, and each one has a story to tell.

(After I published my blog posts, the tourism people in Shipshewana asked if they could distribute my sixteen stories to the horse-and-buggy tour guides, which I gladly agreed to!)

So take a look at my sixteen posts, and if the Walldog murals interest you as much as they interest me, take a look at this half-hour documentary, done by the Walldogs, about their work in Shipshewana in June 2014.
